The Michael Jackson Phenomenon

What has been going on in the Media for the passed two weeks in reference to the Michael Jackson Incident amazes me. With all the allegations that have been made about him in the past and the fact that he settled on some of these allegations it behoves me that he has received the amount of attention he has procured.

There is absolutely no doubt that Michael Jackson was a great entertainer , but as one gentleman said on TV last evening, he may have been great but Sammy Davis Jr was by far a greater entertainer.

The man was in debt in excess of over $400,000,000 dollars with an obsessive compusive behavior to spend money beyond belief with people living off him like vultures. Instead of helping him they were enabling him.

The financial backers that have been enabling him will presumably do very well now since he has passed on to the light. His estate will be worth a considerable amount of money, I believe, after his indebtedness is resolved, which will not take long.

Since he was not a governmental figure and the State of California had between 2,000 and 3,000 peace officers involved in the Memorial Service, and the State of California is in serious financial situation why can't the financial backers for Michael Jackson, who are going to make a considerable amount of money on him, pay for his Memorial Service. which I am sure is in the millions.

He may have passed on but I am sure we will be hearing more about him from different perspectives for the next few years.
