BOOMERANG POLITICS

Is our government really using DUE WEIGHT in setting our policy in our over-all view of what was, is, and should be done in the Middle East. There have been problems in the Middle East for over 5,000 years. There is always one nation or another that feels that it can solve or resolve the differences in the area. Sometimes I feel maybe there is something in the water that causes so much unrest in that area or perhaps a lack of or to much of one element or another.

Last night I heard the President warn against Isolationism and I agree with him that to refrain from dealing in the Middle East is ludicrous.

Perhaps we need to take a new approach in our dealings in the Middle East. There is tremendous sales and marketable value in this old part of the world that is not being treated properly. We have to change our image and understanding with the over 1.2-1.4 Billion Muslims so they do not hate us and they want to do business with the USA. If we can work toward a more positive approach in the Middle East, which we are beginning to do, I believe the threat of terrorism will cease and desist.
