DEJAVU THE SPANISH ARMADA
This country, The United States of America, is so beautiful and all encompassing and we seem to have a way, through time, of resolving our differences because of past experiences and differences.
We are a country made up of many different nationalities, races, and religions.
When most nationalities come to the United States they try to hold on to their native language within the first generation while in this country. The second generation will speak the original language but will lean to speaking English more frequently. With each succeeding generation the original language dissipates.
Therefore, why is there such a concern over the people coming into this country speaking Spanish when most other nationalities did the same when they came here and are coming here.
It is my strong belief that with every succeeding generation of Hispanics that stay in this country, they will be assimilated the same as all others and DEJAVU THE SPANISH ARMADA.
