The Presidential Election

This Presidential Election, since I am voting is perhaps one of the most bizarre campaigns I have ever seen. It boggles my mind to think how much money is being spent on this campaign and being made on this campaign. The media is suppose to report the facts about the candidates but as statistics are beginning to come out the majority of the media and journalist have a tendency to favor one party over the other and have lost their objectivity and seem to be more subjective in the dissertations whether it is in writing, on radio or television. Most of the people I know can not wait for this election to be over so they may be able to try to get back to having a normal life. I have lost a few friends because of our differences in opinion on the election.  I even had one of my relatives tell me he was blocking me on Facebook because I was supporting TRUMP and he gets the information from Fox. One of my best friends was a democrat and his daughter is on Facebook as a friend and as she said  "as long as we can agree to disagree there is no problem".  It is amazing how some individuals can get so emotionally disturbed to a point that they commit violence as one person did in California trying to destroy the Star with Donald Trump's name on it. We are only one week away from the election closing and as I understand about 23-25 million people have already voted early.  I hope my candidate wins so we can take this country into A Road Not Taken to make our country better than it has ever been before with everyone having Equal Responsibility to go along with their Equal Rights and Opportunity.

WORKING ON MY FIRST BOOK

Recently I had dinner with a good friend of mine, Chuck Perrillo and his wife. He showed me a book that he has been working on for years and only had a limited amount printed. I reviewed it and said to him he should have had more printed. After thinking awhile he said he may.  He was pressuring me to get to work on the books that I have been piecing together for years. I have a considerable amount of documentation which has been spread all over in different locations because of personable problems in the past, but, everything is now beginning to shape up and in proper order. I have been allocating about three hours every other night to categorize the information I have to be used in my books.

The first book will be on the fathers' rights movement but the title is not copyrighted at present. The amount of exhibits in the book will almost be as long as the main content of the book or may even be the main content of the book.

Writing has always been one of my main desires and I hope  now that I am in the Autumn of my life I will have the time and lack of stress to fulfill my desire and enlighten other people with some of the experiences and knowledge I have had and learned.

I'm Back

The past few years have been a little hectic and interfering with my personal life. But, now I am in the process of fulfilling what I plan on doing as I will make it happen. I have decided to concentrate on writing my books and giving my time and energy to those that NEED IT.

HOW THANKSGIVING BEGAN

On the 3rd day of October in 1789, in New York City, the following proclomation was signed by George Washington.

Whereas it is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor; andWhereas both Houses of Congress have, by their joint committee, requested me to "recommend to the people of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer, to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts and many and signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness."

Now, therefore, I do recommend and assign Thursday, the 26th day of November next, to be devoted by the people of these States to the service of that great and glorious Being who is the beneficient author of all the good that was , that is, or that will be; that we may then all unite in rendering unto Him out sincere and humble thanks for His kind care and protection of the people of this country previous to their becoming a nation; for the signal and manifold mercies and the favorable interpositions of His providence in the course and conclusion of the late war; for the great degree of tranquility, union, and plenty which we have since enjoyed; for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enable to establish constitutions and government for our safety and happiness, and particularly the national one now lately instituted for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed, and the means we have of acquiring and diffusing useful knowledge; and, in general, for all the great and various favors which He has been pleased to confer upon us.

And also that we may then unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions; to enable us all, whether in public or private stations, to perform our several and relative duties properly and punctually; to render our National Government a blessing to all the people by constantly being faithfully executed and obeyed; to protect and guide all sovereigns and nations (especially such as have shown kindness to us), and to the knowlege and practice of true religion and virtue, and the increase of science among them and us; and, generally to grant unto all mankind such a degree of temporal prosperty as He alone knows to be best.
